Your round. Your hours.
Your people.
Golf is hard. Finding time to play might be harder.
Work, family, everything else — squeezing in a round isn't easy. That's where That'll Play comes in.
A place to play year-round. Discover new courses, meet new people, settle old rivalries, find your new fourth. A quick session before work while everyone's still asleep. A rainy Saturday. A private room for six on a Friday night. There's a bay with your name on it.
Your time here is yours. Book it, get your code, come and go on your schedule. No five-or-six-hour commitment required. If you've got that kind of free time, we're jealous.
Golf comes first here — a focused space that fits your life, not the other way around. Built for people who love the game, wherever they are with it.
That'll Play
How It Started
That'll Play was founded by Chris and Caleb, two Sacramento locals with a simple frustration: not enough access to the game they love.
It started with a rained-out birthday round that ended up at an indoor golf simulator further out of town. They stayed for hours. On the drive home, the question was obvious — why wasn't there something like this in the heart of Sac?
Chris and Caleb met playing Australian Rules Football for Sacramento's travel team. Tackling got more painful. Competition didn't. So they found golf.
Then life happened — careers, a couple of babies for Caleb, the usual chaos. Suddenly full rounds were a luxury neither of them had time for. What they wanted was simple: a place to get real practice and real feedback in an hour or two, no tee time required. It didn't exist. So they built it.
That'll Play is a family venture, full stop — built by people who care about getting every detail right, from the tech in the bays to the feel of the room.
